^Lot 1660 IMPERIAL GERMAN BRASS FIREMAN'S HELMET.

Imperial German brass firefighter's helmet with brass band. Front of helmet has Wappen that reads "Gott Zur Ehr Dem Nächsten". Interior of front lid marked "C.D. MAGIRUS/ULM A/D" for the Conrad Dietrich Magirus company. No liner assembly or chinstrap present. CONDITION: interior shows scattered flaking, age wear & oxidation. Brass parts show some light denting, scattered oxidation, staining & overall turning to a dull yellow patina. (02-25849/MJC). NON-GUN. $200-300.
